Franprix Digitalizes Its Local Communication With ARMIS

The retailer is rolling-out an innovative digital solution leveraging ARMIS technologies in order to grow awereness about openings & transformations of its new Franprix Mandarine shops

Paris, October 18, 2017 – ARMIS announces its nation-wide collaboration with Franpix to support the openings and transformations of its new Franprix Mandarine shops. Franprix, a subsidiary of Casino Group, is the leader of proximity city-based retail in France.

Franprix Mandarine : a new concept rolled-out to all shops of the network

In the past two years, Franprix committed to modernize its shops via its new « Mandarine » concept, which aims at better addressing the needs of its local city-based clients. After the phenomenal success of the first 500 shops transformed, Franprix decided to roll-out the transformation to its 860 shops throughout France.

A digital flyer to inform all consumers around the shop

For each opening/transformation of a new Franprix Mandarine shop, the retailer has classic communication strategies including Outdoor Advertising and Direct Mailing (via flyers). From now on, ARMIS is activated at the same time and can offer a more personalized experience at the client-shop level.

A technology solution geared to develop local awareness

ARMIS has developed an innovative technology called Multilocal Advertising that leverages geolocation, programmatic and machine learning. The technology allows retailers to create ads on Google, Facebook and Display via AppNexus, and on any devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). The Multilocal Artificial Intelligence optimizes advertising delivery (message, device, time of the day, etc.) for each and every shop.

For Franpix, this type of communication strategy creates a strong link between the local shops and its clients. ARMIS delivers local-optimized campaigns at scale in the industrial process of shop openings communications.

« We wanted to have an innovative communication strategy to align with our new concept, which is also innovative and redefine what a proximity store is. The ARMIS solution matched our vision and allowed us to speak to our highly-connected urban client base. » said Franprix

« We are very excited to work with Franprix on the local awereness of its Mandarine shops. Our Multilocal Advertising technology convinced them quickly and proved to be extremely relevant for this type of high-density network of shops. The scalability of our solution allowed us to support Franprix’s national communication plan and roll-out the strategy to hundreds of shops.» declared David Baranes & Dan Gomplewicz, co-fondateurs d’ARMIS.
