ARMIS strengthens its sales team with the arrival of Karim Eid as Director of Strategic Partnerships

Paris, March 18, 2021 – With the arrival of Karim Eid, ARMIS strengthens its team to continue its rapid development to deploy its platform to all major retail players in France His role is to develop relationships, synergies and highly valuable projects between retailers, agencies (media, marketing, digital, data, etc.), communication groups, and platforms (Facebook, Google, etc.).

Already adopted by leaders in the sector, the startup aims to develop existing opportunities and seal new partnerships. This is the mission set to Karim Eid.

“ARMIS commercializes the SaaS solution that digitizes point-of-sale communication. This transformation requires giving advice and a range of services to retailers. Our goal is to collaborate with all the players in the media, marketing, data and retailer ecosystem to maximize their global sales” commented the new Director of Strategic Partnerships.

With more than 20 years of experience, Karim Eid is a well-known figure in the agency world. He participated in the development of the first digital department within ZenithOptimedia, as well as in the launch of the digital activity (Search, Social, Programmatic, Data) of Publicis in Russia. In 2010, he tried the intrapreneurial adventure by founding Performics, one of the leading performance marketing agencies in France. He then joined Zenith France as Managing Director in charge of digital media transformation for L’Oréal and other major key accounts, and then finally Havas Media as Global MD, where he was in charge of marketing performance for all networks (search, retail, etc.).

ARMIS develops the SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform built on Artificial Intelligence that enables retailers to boost omnichannel sales for their stores while reducing marketing costs. The platform generates automatically local digital campaigns for each store – called “multilocal” campaigns – out of print circulars or sales operations. It enables retailers to effectively compete  with Internet giants like Amazon by leveraging their most powerful assets: their brands, product offerings and physical stores. Based in Paris, ARMIS was born from the mix of expertise in technology and retail from David Baranes, former VP Market Development of AppNexus (now Xandr, a subsidiary of AT&T), a world leader in online advertising technologies, and Dan Gomplewicz, former Director of Strategy and Innovation at E. Leclerc. For more information, visit and @Armis_Tech
