Press Release

Driven by strong growth in 2020, ARMIS is consolidating its management team with the arrival of three senior profiles

The company recruited its VP Sales, Head of Data and Head of Operations & Services.

Paris, November 19, 2020 – ARMIS, the pioneering SaaS platform for the digitalization of paper circulars and sales operations of retailers continues its strong growth. Composed of less than ten people in 2017, the company has a staff of about sixty employees today, joined by Nathalie Azoulay (VP Sales France), Alexandre Mare (Head of Operations & Services) and Anthony Truchet (Head of Data).

By welcoming these three talents who combine retail, tech and data expertise, ARMIS intends to respond to the craze for its digitization solution. The health crisis is indeed accelerating all the trends that ARMIS has been promoting since 2016 to the retailers: digital transformation, omnichannel development, refocusing on the local level, the importance of promotion and ecological responsibility. These 3 recruitments contribute to structure the company and enable it to reach a new stage in its technological excellence and quality of service.

” After the first quarantine, during which the cessation of print circular distribution motivated a change in the communication behavior of the retailers, we have observed an exceptional dynamic in the adoption of our technological solution. Our customers have greatly increased their use of ARMIS and new retailers have adopted it. Nathalie, Alexandre and Anthony, each with highly specialized skills and the lessons learned from their past experiences, are major assets to meet this new growth challenge, in France and internationally. ” explain David Baranes and Dan Gomplewicz, co-founders of ARMIS.

Nathalie Azoulay, VP Sales France

With 15 years of experience in sales strategy and management of large retail and luxury goods accounts within world software leaders (IBM, Microsoft, Salesforce), Nathalie joins the ARMIS management team as VP Sales France.

The company will be able to rely on her expertise to successfully lead its mission of developing sales, marketing, customer satisfaction as well as strategic partnerships on the food and non-food distribution market in France. She leads a team that will build on new business profiles throughout 2021.

Alexandre Mare, Head of Operations & Services

A graduate of Polytechnique School (France) and Columbia University (USA), Alexandre rose through the ranks at Société Générale, from Assistant Trader to Vice President Exotic and Hybrid Trading. In 2012, he joined AppNexus (acquired by AT&T), where he became Head of EMEA Client Services. He is currently Head of Operations & Services at ARMIS.

His role is to provide the best service to ARMIS customers through operational excellence, innovation and flexibility. With his team, he will ensure the integration of new clients on the platform, the smooth running of campaigns and the constant improvement of the optimization algorithms, media expertise, etc. and technical support.

Anthony Truchet, Head of Data

With nearly 10 years of experience, including 5 years as a Software Engineer and then Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Criteo (a world leader in advertising targeting technologies), Anthony joins ARMIS as Head of Data.

Anthony will be responsible for cultivating the complementary technical and scientific talents in his team to serve client campaigns. He will be responsible for the development of FLAI (Fast Learning AI), ARMIS’ proprietary artificial intelligence technology.

About ARMIS
ARMIS develops the SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform built on artificial intelligence that enables retailers to generate omnichannel sales for their stores while reducing marketing costs. The platform transforms paper circulars and commercial campaigns into “multi-local” digital advertisements, i.e. optimally distributed around each store. This enables retailers to compete effectively with Internet giants like Amazon by leveraging their most powerful assets: their brands, offerings and physical stores. Based in Paris, ARMIS was born from the merger of the digital and retail advertising expertise of David Baranes, former VP Market Development of AppNexus (now Xandr, a subsidiary of AT&T), a world leader in online advertising technologies, and Dan Gomplewicz, former Director of Strategy and Innovation at E. Leclerc. For more informations, www.armis.tech and @Armis_Tech
